A Place to Belong: We are meant to do life together

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12

Things we all know are true

If you don’t want to have money problems spend less than you make.

To be healthy eat good foods, not too much and move your body.

To have good relationships with friends and your kids check in on them and do things together that fun and meaningful.

God does not intend for anyone one to follow Him in isoilation.

Encourage one another in our faith and how we treat others.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Carry each others burdens.

Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ

GNG is dedicated to providing hope and building brighter futures for our children in Detroit since 1989. Good News Gang is committed to serving boys & girls growing up in the roughest circumstances and neighborhoods in Detroit.

Messages are presented that transforms young people on the inside, so that they will be able to resist the obstacles that try to destroy them daily. The concepts Metro has developed are based upon the Word of God. Our focus is based on a principle that it is better to build boys & girls today than to repair men and women tomorrow.

Each of our programs, are purposefully designed to break destructive cycles and give children the hope they need to create a new path for their lives; founded on the life-changing power of the Gospel, and reinforced by relationship and meeting physical needs. God has turned the lives of countless children around but there are so many more to be rescued.

Good News Gang is supported monthly by the generosity of individuals who have a passion to change the city of Detroit one child at a time.
